The Snake Garden invites the viewer into a surreal, dreamlike ecosystem where aquatic greens and earthy golds twist and bloom like organisms evolving in slow motion. At the center, a serpentine cellular form winds through the composition, evoking a jungle of microbial life or a garden grown from another dimension.
Using layered resin techniques, Jeremy Kay creates a sense of movement and growth, giving the work an almost living quality. Like a scene glimpsed through a microscope or a lush satellite view of alien terrain, The Snake Garden explores the boundaries between nature, science, and psychedelia.
